ARTICLE I -AMENDMENTS
Proposed amendments must be submitted in writing to the delegates
of member institutions at least sixty days before a scheduled meeting
of the Council. When this procedure is followed, amendments will
be adopted at a meeting if they receive an affirmative vote of two-thirds
of the delegates present.
ARTICLE II - DUES
It is the intent of the Council to operate with minimal dues. The
Council will be funded to the extent possible through voluntary
contributions and services, through grants or contracts, and through
sales of publications and other appropriate sources.
If dues become necessary, the dues structure must be approved at
the annual Representative Assembly meeting.
ARTICLE III - GENERAL RULES
Robert's Rules of Order will apply in all matters not covered in
the Constitution and Bylaws.
ARTICLE IV - DISSOLUTION OR
LIQUIDATION
Upon dissolution or liquidation of the University Council for Workforce
and Human Resource Education, Inc., and after discharge or satisfaction
of all outstanding obligations and liabilities, the remaining assets
of the University Council for Workforce and Human Resource Education
shall be used by the Board of Directors in accordance with the purposes
of this organization to be transferred to one or more qualified
exempt organizations within the meaning of Section 501 (c)(3) of
the Internal Revenue Code of 1954.
